1. Introduction

The Device Center is a core module in the platform that supports device lifecycle management.

On-site devices can interact with the platform via standard IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT), thereby enabling the platform's unified management of devices — including real-time data monitoring and remote control of devices. Additionally, functional modules of the platform such as the Alarm Center, Task Center, and Visualization Center (Data visualization) can access device data from the Device Center to provide foundational support for subsequent feature development.

It integrates four major functions: Product Categories, Product Management, Device Groups, and Device Management, helping to simplify the device management process and improve operations and maintenance efficiency.

• Product Categories enables standardized classification by manufacturer, series or model.
• Product Management is used for unifying parameter templates and maintaining product information.
• Device Groups allows flexible classification by scenario and region to adapt to batch operations.
• Device Management covers processes such as device onboarding, monitoring, and fault troubleshooting.
